Big improver second-up in a BM84 chasing future Group 1 horse Another Wil. This is easier and tags the leader Ambassadorial everywhere he goes.

#9 White Bear – Keen – 1.8u ($3 most – cutoff $2.50)
Ran the hands off the clock fresh and no right to skip away in the fashion he did given the fast tempo/eye ball pressure. Jordy Childs’ first sit there and he sticks today. Chute start negates wide gate.
Race 4 – 1:55pm – Vobis Gold Comet – Hcp 1000m
#5 Semillion – 0.55u ($9.50 most – cutoff $7)
Gets a nice stalk on a fast tempo. Just one quiet jump out but was good and has very competitive numbers at these weights.
Race 5 – 2:30pm – Listed Qlty 1600m
#4 First Immortal – 1u ($4.40 most – cutoff $3.90)
No issue running on off the fence and reckon he’s the best horse.
Race 7 – 3:40pm – The Mystic Journey – F&M SWP 1200m
#3 Seonee – 0.5u ($10 most – cutoff $7.50)
Might find them a tad sharp but has won over 1200m in the past, jump outs very good, has a big turn of foot and the winning strike rate of a good Mare that on ability, is over the odds.
Race 10 – 5:40pm – Bel Esprit Stakes – Listed Hcp 1200m
#2 Bank Maur – Value – 0.5u ($14 SB – cutoff $6.50)
All his form says stays at 1200m is a negative but he is back very sharp. Home fastest close of the day at The Valley last start and was good fresh in the Rubition in the inferior going. Looks likely he’s been trained differently and he has the ping in his legs to run these down.

Rail True usually fair. Ambiguous rainfall forecast, if it comes mid meet a few lanes off the fence.
Race 6 – 3:25pm – Maurice Mccarten Stakes – G3 Qlty 1100m
#10 Dashing Legend – 0.5u ($9 Lads/Neds – cutoff $7)
Fresh is best for this Mare and trials have been quiet. Has a lightweight and a nice map. Has the overall record of a good horse and never missed the placings from six goes at 1100m, winning four of them.
Race 7 – 4:00pm – Phar Lap Stakes – G2 3yo SW 1500m
#6 Kintyre – 0.45u ($11 most – cutoff $9)
Needs a new peak but sets up to run one. Just one trial prior to his fresh runs against the older horses where he was ridden quietly but built into his gears nicely, with his L200m split the third ranked on the day. When he has sat close to the speed in the past, it has been on red hot tempos. Today he gets the opportunity to stalk in behind them and have last crack.

#14 More Secrets – Roughie – 0.25u ($27 SB – cutoff $13)
More Secrets did enough fresh and got warm late, but of significant note was no trial or jump out leading into the run. Second-up last prep she only got clear at the 300m before ripping home in clear race fastest splits in The Angst. Gets in light and speed is on.

Good late two back then stayed at 1400m in a stronger maiden last start and ran well for further. Can sit closer from the low draw.

Mixes form badly but leads this and best wins so can nibble the price. Good two runs back.

Best horse in this, still has upside, goes well fresh and jump outs have been eye catching.
